ERROR ANALYSIS IN SOLVING GEOMETRY PROBLEMS BASED ON NEWMAN'S ERROR ANALYSIS REVIEWED FROM LEARNING STYLES

The purpose of this study was to describe the types student errors in solving problems based on Newman Error Analysis (NEA) terms learning styles, namely visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. This type research uses qualitative-descriptive research. technique used collect data fill out a style questionnaire, problem tests, interviews, documentation then triangulated obtain valid data. results showed: (1) subjects with visual styles made mistakes at stage process skills (process skills) writing answers (encoding). (2) auditory make stages understanding (comprehension), transformating (transformation), processing (3) kinesthetic transformation, skills, (encoding) stages.
